The IE Group Integrated Coaching Program is designed to support up to 20 aspiring coaches in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and practical competencies required to achieve COMENSA Level 1 accreditation. The program integrates theoretical learning, practical coaching exercises, mentoring, and reflective practice to ensure participants not only meet the required standards but also develop confidence and professional presence as coaches.
This initiative addresses the growing need within the IE Group to professionalize coaching practice, enhance internal capability, and create a pipeline of COMENSA-certified coaches aligned with industry standards.
To develop 20 coaches to a standard that meets COMENSA Level 1 competencies.
To provide structured, integrated coaching modules covering all COMENSA Level 1 knowledge areas.
To facilitate practical coaching experience through supervised sessions.
To implement mentoring and reflective practice as part of the learning journey.
To evaluate participants’ readiness for COMENSA Level 1 assessment and certification.
In Scope:
Onboarding of up to 20 coaches.
Delivery of modules covering:
COMENSA Code of Ethics and Professional Practice
Coaching models and frameworks
Core coaching skills (active listening, questioning, feedback)
Reflective practice and self-development
Client relationship management and contracting
Session design and outcome evaluation
Mentoring and supervision sessions for all participants.
Practical coaching practice with peer and volunteer clients.
Assessment and readiness evaluation aligned with COMENSA standards.
Out of Scope:
COMENSA assessment fees and certification process.
Advanced coaching programs (Level 2 or beyond).
External marketing or public certification promotion.
Supervision or mentoring hours required beyond 3 individual hours per delegate. Supervision and Mentoring could be paid for additionally, or arranged individually.
Integrated Curriculum: Detailed syllabus covering all COMENSA Level 1 knowledge areas.
Learning Materials: Module guides, handouts, reading lists, and recorded sessions.
Mentoring Program: Structured mentoring schedule with assigned senior coaches. (TBD)
Practical Coaching Sessions: Minimum of 40 peer learning sessions per participant. 5 peer coaching sessions each.
Reflective Journals: Templates for self-assessment and reflective practice.
Readiness Assessment: Tools and evaluation reports to confirm Level 1 competency.
Final Report: Summary of program outcomes, participant progress, and recommendations.
